This Phlebotomist opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient flexible schedule.This dynamic individual will perform venipuncture and skin puncture competently and expediently. Has working knowledge of test requirements, assists in clinical laboratory. Responsibilities include venipuncture, blood cultures and capillary blood samples.

Responsibilities
- • Draws blood competently, consistently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
- • Identifies the patient using the two-unique identifiers described in the hospital’s policy before services are provided.
- • Records phlebotomy requisitions on log.
- • Displays courteous, professional manner towards patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff.

Qualifications
- • High school graduate or equivalent.
- • State Laboratory Assistant licensure required
- • Current BLS certification
- • Valid drivers license
